The works
This mobile wallet was a partnership between a bank and a telecommunications agency, with the aim to be the one-stop app for nationwide usage.
Involved was a bank, Telco agency and a remittance agency. A lot of thought went into the UX of marrying all functions from 3 totally different organisations to make sense in 1 app.
The Challenge
With the idea of creating a super app, it was crucial to plan out the North Star of the app and ensuring a balance of business value vs customer value.
A new concept meant lots of iteration, but that did not faze us. We took the crucial step to plan with the stakeholders on the roll-out phases, ensuring that important functions are rolled out first for a smooth transition.

Making the app part of life
Pay, transfer, remit, purchase, withdraw. These are complex services provided by 3 different players, yet it is designed to be seen as a single platform for everyday use.
Simplified
To make an app part of a user's life, it has to be simple, so simple that it is invisible. Special attention was paid to the UX to ensure minimum onboarding is needed.
